Update on Hunter - November 24, 2008
Here is an update from Blake ..
First of all, there has been a tremendous amount of support for Hunter. Everyone has been amazing! There are so many comments and they are so powerful and encouraging! Im almost done putting them all on tape for him! I visited him a couple weekends ago and he seems to be doing well; the same old Hunter personality wise! Also, some more good news: Hunter is back at home for good! He will of course have to fly back to Walter Reed for some surgerys, but beside that his long stay in the hospital is over!
He obviously has a lot more to go through though….mainly the adjustment back to life. In reality, this is the beginning of a new life for him and he’s going to have to learn a different way to live it.
I also wanted to let you know that in a couple weeks Hunter, his sister, and I are flying out to Orlando. Gary had invited Hunter and 2 friends to go so he chose me and his sister. I’m really excited, as this will be a great opportunuty for the site.
Hunter & Blake have big changes for the site so it might start to have a bit different look over the next couple of months. We’ll continue to update everyone as much as we can about Hunter, the foundation and the site .

I just want you to know that your sacrifice for our Country is deeply appreciated. It sounds from what i’ve heard that your fighting the good fight. That is such great news. Although I don’t post often Hunter, you are never very far from my thoughs. As we go into this Christmas season I have so much to be thankful for all because of Men and Woman like you. God Bless and keep up the great work. Enjoy your trip to Orlando. I was in the area last year for a couple days. Stayed at Cocoa Beach and it was most beautiful.
